Spanish Lake is a one-of-a-kind community in St. Louis County

This community has beautiful natural areas, strong neighborhoods, and a rich history.

This Study is an opportunity to envision the future of Spanish Lake together. It will help guide new investment, prioritize opportunities, and explore improvements that could enhance everyday life. Most importantly, this Study will build on what already makes Spanish Lake special, highlighting the best qualities and helping the community stay strong and resilient for years to come.

Phase One

The Study is currently in the First Phase and work is underway. The progress so far includes:

Learning about the community — from its land and geography, to the streets and sidewalks, even the way homes and businesses have changed over time
Reviewing data and past plans — to understand what has been tried before and what has worked and hasn’t worked
Listening to residents and community leaders — through focus groups, surveys, committees, public engagement, and more

This work will help shape and guide the next phase of the Study.
