Spanish Lake is a one-of-a-kind community in St. Louis County.

It has beautiful natural areas, strong neighborhoods, and a rich history.

This plan is an opportunity to envision the future of Spanish Lake together. It will help guide new investment, prioritize opportunities and potential improvements to day-to-day life, and build on what already makes Spanish Lake special. This plan is all about highlighting what makes Spanish Lake shine now, and how the community can be resilient long-term.

Current Phase

The Study in the the First Phase and work is underway. The progress so far includes:

  • Learning about the community—from the land and geography, to the streets and sidewalks, to the ways homes and businesses have changed over time

  • Reviewing data and past plans—what has been tried before and what has worked and not worked to implement change

  • Listening to residents and community leaders—from focus groups and surveys, to committees and a public meeting, and more.

This work will shape the next steps of the plan.
